threaded bar staircase

threaded bar staircase

This structure is made of 16mm threaded bars which have been crushed under a power hammer. They all attach with nuts. The treads are pine cut into "paddles" to form a space-saver staircase.

The kit form means it can be assembled quickly and with no mess in very difficult areas to get to.

This staircase does not comply with building regulations as the client did not require it although this design could easily be adapted to comply.
